I bought the 13th in the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series from Amazon.
Filling in for Larry, Anita travels to Philadelphia to reanimate a deceased federal witness, accompanied by Micah. The trip serves as a chance for them to be together, just the two of them, which is extremely rare.
I loved it - the animating job plot is a little weak around the edges but, the personal/emotional themes make up for it.
