My sister loaned me the first in the Harper Connelly Mysteries.
Harper Connelly was struck by lightning when she was a kid - she survived the weird accident but, came away with the unique talent of being able to sense/find dead people. Harper and her brother Tolliver travel the country making a living off of this talent. The first of the series takes the pair to Sarne, Arkansas to find a missing teenagers body. Usually, the job entails finding the body, collecting the fee, and getting right back out of town but...something is doing on in Sarne and Harper and Tolliver end up right in the middle of it.
I liked it - the brother/sister relationship is comfortable but still realistically sweet - they stabilize each other in the midst of the crazy townspeople.
